While she didn’t win any of the six Grammy Awards she was nominated for, no one had more fun than Taylor Swift at the 2025 Grammys. The “Blank Space” singer was spotted sweetly embracing Sabrina Carpenter while celebrating the “Espresso” star’s very first Grammy awards, rocking out in Janelle Monáe’s jacket, adorably third-wheeling longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley, and just being everyone’s hype queen. She also tapped into her inner Glinda, bonding with Wicked actress Cynthia Erivo and recreating one of the most viral moments to come out of the Wicked press tour.

While Ariana Grande didn’t attend the Grammy Awards this year, Swift ensured she was there in spirit as she and Erivo gave the “holding space” fingernail moment a second try. In a video shared by X (formerly Twitter) fan account @infoari, the “Style” singer could be seen squeezing into a shared seat with Erivo as host Trevor Noah spoke about Beyoncé’s impressive list of nominations that night.

After Swift waved the actress over, the pair appeared to have become fast friends, giggling and leaning their heads together as Noah made some jokes. At one point, Swift playfully grabbed Erivo’s elaborately-decorated pointer finger–a seeming reference to Grande’s gesture of support during a joint interview where a journalist told the British star that the LGBTQ+ community was “holding space” for her “Defying Gravity” performance.

For her Grammys “holding space” moment, Erivo showed off a bejeweled manicure complete with stacks of rings including a marquise diamond sparkler that had fans wondering if the Oscar-nominated star was engaged to girlfriend Lena Waithe.

It’s unknown if she and Swift were friends before Sunday night, but based on their Grammys antics, it looks like Erivo is the latest member of Swift’s squad.
