Taylor Swift Adds to Her Trophy Collection With TK Wins at the 2025 Grammy Awards 716:
Despite an impressive six nominations at the 2025 Grammy Awards, Taylor Swift left empty-handed.

The pop star, 35, didn’t win any trophies during the Sunday, February 2, ceremony at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Ahead of Sunday’s ceremony, Swift lost Best Music Video to Kendrick Lamar‘s “Not Like Us,” later losing Best Pop Vocal Album to Eras Tour opener Sabrina Carpenter. When Carpenter, 25, won, Swift lept to her feet to cheer for her pal.

Record of the Year and Song of the Year then both went to Lamar, 37, as Swift was seen dancing to “Not Like Us” in the crowd.

At the end of the broadcast, it was announced that Beyoncé‘s Cowboy Carter took home the prize for Album of the Year, her first in the category. Swift subsequently toasted the honor in the crowd with Beyoncé’s husband, Jay-Z.

Swift landed six Grammy nominations this year: Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for The Tortured Poets Department, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Music Video for “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her “Us.” collaboration with Gracie Abrams.

The Best Pop Duo/Group Performance hardware ultimately went to Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars‘ “Die With a Smile.”

For Album of the Year, she was up against André 3000’s New Blue Sun, Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter, Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet, Charli XCX’s Brat, Jacob Collier’s Djesse Vol. 4, Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft and Chappell Roan’s The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess.

As for Best Pop Vocal Album, Swift competed against Short n’ Sweet, Hit Me Hard and Soft, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess and Ariana Grande’s Eternal Sunshine.

For Record of the Year, Swift’s “Fortnight” went up against The Beatles’ “Now and Then,” Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em,” Carpenter’s “Espresso,” Charli’s “360,” Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather,” Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” and Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe!

In the Song of the Year category, “Fortnight” competed against “Birds of a Feather,” “Good Luck, Babe!,” “Not Like Us,” “Texas Hold ‘Em,” Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With a Smile” and Carpenter’s “Please Please Please.”

For best Music Video, “Fortnight” faced off against A$AP Rocky’s “Tailor Swif,” Charli’s “360,” Eminem’s “Houdini” and Lamar’s “Not Like Us.”

Finally, Swift’s “Us.” vied for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance in a field of nominees that included Beyoncé and Malone’s “Levii’s Jeans,” Charli and Eilish’s “Guess,” Grande, Brandy and Monica’s “The Boy Is Mine” and Gaga and Mars’ “Die With a Smile.

Prior to the 2025 Grammys, Swift racked up 14 wins throughout her career, including four Album of the Year trophies for Fearless in 2010, 1989 in 2016, Folklore in 2021 and Midnights in 2024. She also received accolades for Best Country Album for Fearless and Best Country Song and Best Female Country Vocal Performance for “White Horse” in 2010, Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance for “Mean” in 2012, Best Song Written for Visual Media for “Safe & Sound” from The Hunger Games in 2013, Best Music Video for “Bad Blood” and Best Pop Vocal Album for 1989 in 2016, Best Music Video for All Too Well: The Short Film in 2023 and Best Pop Vocal Album for Midnights in 2024.
