Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, both have incredibly busy schedules at the moment.
While Swift loves to attend as many Chiefs games as possible, the final leg of the pop star’s Eras concert tour, which kicked off on Oct. 18, has kept her from cheering for Kelce in person over the past several weeks.
After making stops in Miami and New Orleans, the “Blank Space” singer closes out the U.S. section of her Eras tour with three consecutive shows at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Because her final performance is on Nov. 3, fans expected the 14-time Grammy winner to make her way to Arrowhead Stadium for the Chiefs’ game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on “Monday Night Football.” However, rumors started to swirl that Swift might skip the primetime showdown to attend Vice President Kamala Harris’ rally in Pennsylvania, where the singer was born, and here’s why:

An email sent to Harris supporters and obtained by TribLive stated that the vice-president will speak at a rally and concert at Point State Park from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. EST, and that “special guest” will join Harris during the concert. The vice-president then heads to Philadelphia for a concert and rally scheduled from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. EST.
While Swift has yet to attend a Harris/Walz event, showing up to rally in Pennsylvania, a critical battleground state with 19 electoral votes, would provide her candidacy a massive boost the night before Election Day.
Gracie Abrams, who’s opening for Swift in Indianapolis this weekend, performed at Harris’ Wisconsin rally on Oct. 30. The National’s Aaron Dessner, who’s co-written and co-produced several songs with Swift, also performed.

After Sunday’s Eras concert, Swift has nearly two weeks off before the tour opens in Toronto on Nov. 14. Therefore, she could return to Kansas City to cheer for Kelce during the Chiefs’ matchup against the Denver Broncos on Nov. 10.
