The Golden State Warriors are one of plenty of NBA teams flying around in rumors ahead of Thursday’s trade deadline.
On Sunday, it was reported that Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler would not sign an extension with the Warriors, which essentially ends any trade talks for the time being.
This comes on the same night that the Chicago Bulls traded Zach LaVine to the Sacramento Kings in a three-team deal that sent De’Aaron Fox to the San Antonio Spurs.
LaVine was also linked as a potential Warriors trade target, so now Butler and LaVine seem out of the picture.
However, the Warriors did get some good news on Sunday night regarding forward Draymond Green, per Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.
“Draymond Green is listed as probable to return tomorrow from a calf injury that has kept him out of seven straight games,” Youngmisuk wrote on X.
Green last played on January 18 against the Washington Wizards, although he left the game after just three minutes due to a calf injury.
Draymond Green is out for the night. Left calf tightness. It has been an issue lately.

In Green’s absence, the Warriors have gone 3-4, with the latest being a 130-105 blowout loss at home against the Phoenix Suns on Friday night.
On the year, green is averaging 8.4 points with 6.0 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game. He has played just 34 games this year for the Warriors, so this is good news with him coming back on Monday against the Orlando Magic.
The Warriors need all the help they can get, especially since they are tied at 24-24 with the Kings as of Sunday night.
