Chicago Bulls: Major Zach LaVine to Milwaukee Bucks Trade News

Coming into the season, there were a lot of question marks surrounding Zach LaVine. The Chicago Bulls star has defied all expectations though and is playing arguably the best basketball of his career right now.

This season, LaVine is averaging 24.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game while shooting a remarkably efficient 51.1% from the field and 44.6% from three-point range. In the summer, there was not believed to be much interest in LaVine. Plenty of teams around the league might be kicking themselves though for not making the move when his trade value was at its lowest.

His massive contract remains an obstacle to overcome when it comes to any potential trade from Chicago. But that does not mean that there is no interest in the 29-year-old. While speaking on Chicago Sports Network, K. C. Johnson said that the Milwaukee Bucks do have interest in LaVine.

After a bad start to the season, the Bucks have shown a lot of improvement and currently sit fourth in the Eastern Conference with a 26-18 record. The Bucks might be one of the most in-form teams in the league right now but it feels like they are still a piece or two away from being genuine contenders for the Championship. They already have one of the most dynamic cores in the entire league with the duo of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard.

It is certainly an intriguing idea to add a pure scorer like LaVine to that mix. Not only has LaVine proven his quality this season but his professionalism as well. When you look at how things are playing out at some other places right now, he deserves to be commended.
