Chiefs Fans Get Fired Up Over Patrick Mahomes’ Post Before AFC Championship Game

Patrick Mahomes turned in another strong performance in Saturday’s Divisional Round win over the Houston Texans. The two-time All-Pro quarterback led the Kansas City Chiefs to a 23-14 victory with 16-of-25 completed passes for 177 yards and one touchdown.

It was far from a mind-blowing performance from the former Texas Tech star — especially for his extremely high standards — but it was enough to get the Chiefs over the hump and into the AFC Championship Game.

Up next for Mahomes and Co. is a home matchup at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. Not only are they aiming to take home their fifth AFC title in six years, but more importantly, Kansas City is looking to punch their ticket for the 2025 Super Bowl in New Orleans on Feb 9.

Mahomes took to Instagram on Friday night to share a hype video ahead of their do-or-die matchup against the Bills. The clip contained highlights from the Chiefs’ Divisional win over the Texans, perfectly set against NF’s “Paid My Dues” track.

Based on their reactions, it would be safe to say that Mahomes’ post was able to fire up Chiefs fans on social media.

“🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥” a comment on Instagram read.

“Let’s f’n gooooo!” posted a user.

“Goat time 15! They must’ve forgot who runs it💪🏼💯” said another.

“Let’s goooooooooo Chiefs 🔥” a supporter reacted.

“pure fire. arrowhead is about to be rocking. let’s go!” wrote another.

“SCARY HOURS IN ARROWHEAD 🤫” commented a fan.

There’s going to be a lot of pressure on Mahomes on Sunday as he looks to lead the Chiefs to a win against a determined Buffalo side. It will be anything but easy, but Mahomes has proven time and time again that he is fully capable of stepping up to the plate when it matters the most.
