The Boston Celtics lost to the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night, concluding a three-game trip in California. But they still have one game left on their road trip, and it’s an NBA Finals rematch. They’ll be in Texas to take on the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday evening.

It has been a relatively rough stretch for the Celtics, having gone just 7-5 since the start of the near year. Meanwhile, the Mavs have been fighting through a bunch of injuries. They are just 4-8 since January 1 and struggling to keep pace in a packed Western Conference. Now, the two teams will square off.

Here is the Celtics injury report for their game against the Mavericks on Saturday, January 25..

  • Dereck Lively II OUT (right ankle stress fracture)
  • Dante Exum OUT (wrist)
  • Naji Marshall OUT (illness)
  • Jaden Hardy OUT (ankle)
  • Dwight Powell OUT (hip)
  • Klay Thompson QUESTIONABLE (ankle)

The only Celtics player listed on their injury report heading into Sunday night is Derrick White. He’s questionable to play due to a left calf strain.

Meanwhile, the Mavericks have a very lengthy injury report as they get set to play the Celtics. It’s part of the reason they’ve been struggling so much since the new year—they just can’t get healthy.

Luka Doncic is the most significant name on the injury report by far. The Mavs superstar suffered a left calf strain on Christmas and is set to be re-evaluated sometime soon.

On top of that, new Dallas addition Klay Thompson is questionable to play vs. the Celtics due to an ankle injury.

Naji Marshall will not play against the Celtics due to an illness, and Dereck Lively II is out as well. The big man will be re-evaluated in roughly a month after suffering an ankle fracture.

Dante Exum, Jaden Hardy, and Dwight Powell are all out as well—Exum due to a wrist problem, Hardy due to an ankle problem, and Powell due to a hip problem.
