In 2014, Taylor Swift went comfy and cozy for an interview with “The Elvis Duran Z100 Morning Show.” The furry white onesie featured huge wings on her back, a long fluffy tail, platform footies, and hooves over her hands (this one wasn’t the most practical). She had jaws on the floor in a long, bright red wig with a purple and green shiny mermaid-tale dress and a cute crab purse. Proving Taylor Swift was rocking fun Halloween costumes years before she got famous, when she was a kid, she dressed up as an adorable Teletubby. The youngster loved the children’s TV show so much she even carried a Teletubby plush around with her. So cute! Swift shared the photo on Instagram in 2015 with the caption (via People), “When you dress as the yellow Teletubby for Halloween, but it’s before Teletubbies got huge so all the kids at school ask you why you’re dressed as a yellow pregnant alien.” Awkward. Though Swift may have removed the image from her social media accounts, thankfully, “Teletubbies” shared it on Facebook in all its glory.

Taylor Swift doesn’t do spooky season by halves, so she didn’t do the mere mortal thing of going to the store for a Deadpool costume in 2016. Instead, she contacted the man himself, Ryan Reynolds, to get the real thing. She confirmed that in her since-deleted Instagram upload, telling Reynolds in the caption (via Billboard), “You’re the BEST Deadpool inside contact ever.” Though the photos are no longer on the “Karma” hitmaker’s accounts, the memory lives on, because Swifties can’t get over cool comic book costumes even years later. “Ryan Reynolds letting Taylor Swift wear his Deadpool costume for Halloween, lives in my head rent-free,” one fan tweeted in January 2022.
