Stephen Curry Sends Special Message to Former Milwaukee Bucks Star Who Made 2025 FIBA Hall of Fame

Golden State Warriors superstar point guard Stephen Curry gave a special shoutout to his former Dubs teammate and ex-Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut after the latter was named as an inductee into the FIBA Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

In an Instagram Story post, the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player congratulated Bogut for the Hall of Fame honor from FIBA.

“Big time @andrewbogut,” Curry wrote.

Curry and Bogut shared lots of memories together. After all, they were both part of the 2014-15 Golden State squad that won an NBA title. Bogut was the regular starting center for the Warriors that season in which he also averaged 6.3 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. B

efore his stint with the Warriors, Bogut played his first seven seasons in the NBA with the Bucks, who selected him first overall in the 2005 NBA draft.

During his time with the Bucks, Bogut, who is now 40 years old, averaged 12.7 points, 9.3 rebounds,  2.3 assists and 1.6 blocks through 408 games (400 starts). He also played for the Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Although Bogut never became an All-Star in the NBA, he was an accomplished player internationally. He was the Most Valuable Player in the FIBA Under-19 World Cup in 2003, leading  Australia to a gold medal in the tournament. He was also a three-time Olympian and twice represented the Boomers in the FIBA Basketball World Cup.
