Travis Kelce gifted former NFL player – and close friend – Beau Allen a $11,900 designer shirt on Sunday with the permission of girlfriend Taylor Swift.
But Allen has since admitted he was ‘disappointed’ that the gift fit, because it means he’s now lost the hulking figure he had during his football career.
Kelce walked into Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday wearing a pink suede Bottega Venetta button-down leather shirt before the Kansas City Chiefs’ divisional round win over the Houston Texans.
The fashion conscious NFL star wore it over a white t-shirt and paired it with navy and white knit cargo pants with a $96 beanie hat and Timberlands.
Swift, who wore a $16,500 Chanel outfit at the game, and her family jetted in from New York for the game to support Kelce and sat in his luxury suite alongside his family and WNBA sensation Caitlin Clark.
Allen, a former teammate of Kelce’s brother Jason and a guest on their New Heights podcast, revealed this week that he complimented Travis’ shirt at the game and was then lucky enough to keep it.
‘He just f***ing gave it to me, so, it’s pretty slick,’ said Allen on the Green Light with Chris Long podcast.
‘I was like, “I don’t think it’s gonna fit me,” and Taylor’s like, “Yeah, it’ll definitely fit. Put it on”.
Kelce told Allen that he could keep the shirt ‘if it fits’ because he was ‘never going to wear it again’ after just one outing.
When it did fit, Allen admitted he was ‘kinda disappointed’, adding: ‘I used to be a big f***ing boy and now I’m wearing the same clothes as him.’
Swift seemed keen to shake off any accusations that she is a ‘distraction’ to Kelce by jetting back to New York a little over 24 hours after his tight win against the Houston Texans.
The tight end was hit with a barrage of criticisms after his slow start to the season, with many experts quickly blaming his off-season partying with Swift…
