It’s no secret that 2024 was a great year for Taylor Swift, and the pop star’s friends couldn’t agree more. Jeslyn Gorman, one of the backup vocalists on the Eras tour, shared a throwback photo of herself, Taylor and other friends from their time together.
In the picture, several women, along with Taylor, 35, and Jeslyn, lounge on a yacht. Taylor could be seen sporting a colorful bikini and a beige baseball cap. Jeslyn also included several other moments captured in 2024, including another image of herself and the “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” singer. In the other photo, posed in an archway while neon lights behind them.
Jeslyn, who has been with Taylor since her days on the Red tour, listed off several things she “learned in 2024.”
“Joy is medicine. Grace is a beautiful gift that we don’t give ourselves enough of. Don’t sweat the small stuff, you have a life to enjoy. Generosity not only lifts someone else up, but it magically also lifts you up. We are capable of way more than we can imagine,” she wrote via Instagram on January 4. “Strength and resilience is the result of discomfort and hard work. My chosen family is pretty freaking awesome. TikTok is very useful for travel plans. I am loved beyond my wildest dreams. Boundaries are important. As long as your mind is strong, you can make it through anything.”
Jeslyn added that it was “okay to balance and feel both joy and heartbreak” and that people shouldn’t worry about what others think about them because “what matters is what you think of yourself.”
She concluded, “Travel is a spiritual experience, you learn a lot about yourself. Having a safe, vulnerable space to express yourself is a privilege. You can’t fix everything.. and that’s okay. Every day is a new opportunity to be your best self, to choose grace, to choose joy, to choose love. To more love in 2025.”
Taylor finished up her iconic Eras tour run on December 8, 2024, after spending 21 months traveling the globe. She made stops in 54 countries and performed 149 shows on five continents. The Miss Americana star got emotional during her last performance in Vancouver when she called the Eras tour the “adventure of a lifetime.”
“I speak on behalf of my band … my fellow performers who all left their families and have spent time away from everything that they know and love and have performed when they were sick,” Taylor told the crowd of 60,000 at B.C. Place. “When anything was going on in their lives, they made sure that this show came through [for] you and I just wanted to say that on behalf of all of us, we will never forget you giving us that moment. Thank you, Vancouver.”
Since wrapping up the world-breaking tour, Taylor has been enjoying her downtime by taking in several of boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs games. The “Blank Space” artist also celebrated her 35th birthday with an Eras-themed surprise party thrown for her by Travis himself.
