COMING SOON: Dodgers Could Reunite With $63 Million World Series Winner This Offseason

Even with an already impressive roster, the reigning World Series champions aren’t done adding.

The Los Angeles Dodgers know they will need to have a six-man rotation with Shohei Ohtani easing back into pitching.

Dodgers Could Reunite With $63 Million World Series Winner This Offseason - Newsweek

Yoshinobu Yamamoto is still adjusting to MLB, and Tyler Glasnow struggles to stay healthy. However, the team could reunite with a World Series winner even after signing Blake Snell. Jack Flaherty is still on the market and remains one of the top options.

He posted a 3.58 ERA in 10 regular season starts for the Dodgers in the second half of the year. Flaherty recorded 3.2 strikeouts for every walk he conceded in Dodger blue.

He is currently projected to sign a three-year, $63 million deal which is right at market value. Pitching on an extra day of rest may even help Flaherty retain his dominance from 2024.

This move makes a lot of sense for both parties.

The Dodgers lock up another dominant pitcher for the next three seasons while Flaherty gets the money he deserves and three more legitimate chances at winning a World Series. Even though Flaherty struggled in the postseason, the Dodgers shouldn’t think twice about bringing him back if given the opportunity.

His numbers from the regular season over the course of his career prove he can be effective.

A team like the Dodgers may even help Flaherty to achieve his full potential as he wouldn’t face the pressure of being an ace. Even though other teams are in on him, it would be tough for Flaherty to turn down the Dodgers.
