Draymond Green And George Niang Get Involved In A Heated Argument After Warriors Star Sets A Brutal Screen On Him

Draymond Green & George Niang

The Golden State Warriors once again succumbed to the depths of defeat as they sank further this NBA season. Going up against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Stephen Curry and co. failed to get the Warriors over the line with a 95-113 defeat. However, with the frustration creeping in, Draymond Green got involved in a heated tussle with one of the Cavs.

During a play, Green could be spotted shielding George Niang of the Cavaliers. While Niang tried to force his way past Green, the duo got into a tussle and fell down on the court. After getting up, both the athletes could be seen exchanging some heated stares. Thankfully, the altercation did not escalate as Green extended a hand, helping Niang to get up from the ground.

Well, this was not the only instance of Draymond Green getting himself into a controversy. One of the famous incidents involving Green is his fallout with Jordan Poole. And while the scandal is well known, Green provided a shocking admission about the same.

Draymond Green Feels Sad For Jordan Poole Incident

Draymond Green vs. Jordan Poole will always remain as a widely known controversy in the NBA. During the 2022-23 season, Poole was seemingly playing and yelling obscenities during a training session. This made Green lose his temper. In a shocking turn of events, Green punched Poole in the face and knocked him out. Sadly, the entire incident was taped and the altercation soon spread like wildfire.

Looking back at the incident, the Warriors’ icon pointed out that he felt bad about his actions. “One of my biggest failures as a vet was with what happened with Jordan Poole… He was someone that I would spend time with, that I would pour into, and I f**ked it all up. I haven’t felt that miserably by most things in my life. And so that was one of my biggest failures,” Green said in an episode of the ‘Two Cents’ podcast. Thus, with Draymond Green creating a significant ripple even outside of his on-court heroics, it now remains to be seen what’s next.
