BREAKING: Chiefs TE Travis Kelce Addresses Taylor Swift Breakup Speculation

Travis Kelce's Team Denies Rumors of Alleged Taylor Swift Breakup Contract

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce likely knew what he was getting into when he pursued a romantic relationship with the biggest pop star on the planet, Taylor Swift.

Anytime he makes a public appearance or does a non-NFL postgame interview, he’s seemingly asked about Swift, with questions ranging from why she doesn’t show up to some of his games to whether or not there’s any truth to the speculation that they are heading for a split (rumors that were eventually debunked by Kelce’s publicist.)

And it’s not just Kelce who gets asked those questions either, his friends and family do as well, and now you can throw colleague in there too.

During an appearance on Wednesday’s “New Heights” podcast, Kelce’s “Grotesquerie” co-star Niecy Nash disclosed that she frequently gets texts from people asking for inside information on Kelce and Swift’s relationship, to which she replied she tells them to mind their own business – a sentiment Kelce expressed appreciation for.

“I appreciate you always,” Kelce replied to Nash. “

And every time someone has a mic in front of you and asks you something like that, thank you for always showing love.

You know it’s real. And you know that me and Tay are absolutely happy, and I appreciate you always making sure that everybody knows that.”

Though Kelce himself hasn’t come right out and point-blank addressed the breakup rumors regarding himself and Swift, his comments during Wednesday’s show are likely as close as he’ll get to doing so.

Those rumors started making the rounds on social media last month and stated that Kelce and Swift had a date of Sept. 28 to announce their breakup.

Since that false report broke, the couple have seemingly gone out of their way to show things couldn’t be further from the truth as they’re reportedly planning to buy multiple vacation homes together, possibly open a liquor store, potentially co-own an NFL team and an engagement seems to be on the horizon for them as well.
