Breaking: Chiefs predicted to add 2,497-yard franchise-altering talent

The Kansas City Chiefs are in a great spot and don’t need to make any huge additions.

Kansas City has won two straight Super Bowls and could get a third this year. But, they could get even better ahead of the 2025 season. The Chiefs — like every other team — will have opportunities to add even more pieces this upcoming offseason with the draft being the easiest way to do so.Who will the Chiefs end up adding? Yahoo Sports’ Nate Tice and Charles McDonald made a mock draft and predicted the Chiefs will end up selecting Boise State superstar running back Ashton Jeanty.

“Kansas City Chiefs — Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State,” Tice and McDonald said. “A steal! Ashton Jeanty is one of the two or three best players in the class but winds up in the hands of the Chiefs, who should be thrilled about being able to add him to the offense. Jeanty has a rare combination of strength, balance and speed that will make him a nightmare for NFL defenses.”

If Jeanty somehow is available when the Chiefs select, that would be an absolute game-changer of a move. He has taken the football world by storm this year and has logged 2,497 rushing yards this season with Boise State to go along with 29 touchdowns.

If the Chiefs could land him, the rich certainly would get richer. Pairing him with Isiah Pacheco would give the Chiefs the best backfield in football. The Chiefs clearly don’t need to make any huge additions but this is the type of move that just seems like it would make sense.
