RUMORS TRADE: Dodgers Could Swing Blockbuster Trade For $34 Million Blue Jays Infielder

The Los Angeles Dodgers have built one of the best rosters in recent memory. They have a loaded starting rotation with multiple pitchers who could compete for the Cy Young.

Dodgers' perfect Bo Bichette trade LA must offer Blue Jays

Their starting lineup also has numerous hitters who could be among the best in the league at their position. But in classic Dodgers fashion, the rich will only look to get richer.

The Dodgers are looking to get better and the ideal trade target could fall right into their lap.

Los Angeles was rumored to be in on shortstop Willy Adames before he signed with the rival San Francisco Giants. Now, the Dodgers could pivot to swinging a blockbuster trade for 26-year-old Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette.

Bichette is coming off a horrible season in which he slashed a career-low .225/.277/.322 with just four home runs in 81 games. This comes after recording at least 20 home runs and an .800 OPS or higher during the 2021, 2022, and 2023 seasons.

For the Blue Jays, the goal would be trading him before his value drops any lower. They would be able to land a package from the Dodgers likely centered around another reclamation project: Bobby Miller.

Miller was excellent in 2023 but un-pitchable in 2024.

A deal sending Miller plus prospects to Toronto isn’t outside the realm of possibility just yet.

The Dodgers would acquire a shortstop to slot into the everyday lineup. If Los Angeles can turn Bichette’s career back around, it would be landing an elite hitter.

The Blue Jays haven’t made a move this offseason. They need to pick a direction and either try to win or sell on their star players.
