Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs improved to 15-1 on the season following a Christmas Day 29-10 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. During the win over the Steelers, Kelce surpassed 1,000 career receptions.
He finished the win over the Steelers with one touchdown and 84 yards on eight receptions. Upon eclipsing 1,000 career receptions, the Chiefs’ official social media account posted a congratulatory message for Kelce.
“One thousand more reasons to love Travis Kelce,” the Chiefs posted. “Congratulations, Travis!” Kelce also secured the Chiefs’ all-time record in total touchdowns, surpassing Tony Gonzalez.
