Celtics injury report: Kristaps Porzingis upgraded for Bulls game Saturday

Porzingis

The Celtics will be near full strength as they look to get some revenge against the Bulls. Only Sam Hauser (low back spasms) is listed on the C’s injury report as he’s questionable for the 8 p.m. Saturday game in Chicago.

Notably, that means Kristaps Porzingis is all good to go after playing in Thursday’s loss to the Bulls. He was originally questionable for that game with the right heel contusion he suffered in the Wizards game earlier this week, but it doesn’t sound like the heel is bothering him anymore.

Xavier Tillman is also available after missing Thursday’s game due to an illness. Hauser also sat as his low back issues have bothered him since training camp and has kept him out of a handful of games thus far.

If Hauser isn’t able to go, there will be wing minutes available for a bench player. Jaden Springer surprisingly got an opportunity, playing 13 minutes in Hauser’s absence. But Springer wasn’t able to make a huge impact in a mixed bag performance.

The Celtics dropped their game to the Bulls 117-108 on Thursday as they lost composure down the stretch of the game. They were called for three technical fouls in the fourth quarter alone as that stunted momentum. But they now have a chance to beat the Bulls on their home court come Saturday’s game.
