Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce pulled off an incredible feat recently by arranging a surprise party for his girlfriend Taylor Swift.

The “Fortnight” singer celebrated her 35th birthday on Friday, and after a private affair involving “just them two,” the three-time Super Bowl champ went for the exact opposite with a high-profile bash with their family and friends.

While there were some rumors that Kelce may have taken advantage of the opportunity to pop the big question, it appears that this was not the case.

A new report by Daily Mail, however, has now revealed that the All-Pro tight end does have plans to propose in the not-so-distant future.

Both Kelce and Swift are well aware of the fact that fans have been clamoring for their engagement for some time now.

In fact, according to Daily Mail’s source, the couple “find it extremely humorous that they have been engaged every day since they got together.”

This being the case, it now appears that Kelce and Swift have every intention of keeping their engagement private if and when it happens. “Travis is going to have to go above and beyond but it won’t be a public spectacle,” said Daily Mail’s source.

“They are both aware of the fact that the whole world is so thirsty for them to be engaged and, while Taylor does want a white wedding one day, her friends just feel like people need to chill and let them be a couple.”

But they are going to keep some things private and will have elaborate plans in place to ensure secrecy.”

It’s not as if Kelce and Swift are going to keep it a secret between just the two of them.

According to Daily Mail’s source, the couple expects their inner circle to know about the engagement.

They trust their family and their closest friends completely, and Swift and Kelce are confident that they will be able to keep everything under wraps.

“They are not worried about those close to them leaking info because people who know them respect this,” Daily Mail’s source revealed.

“When and if Travis does make this happen it will be for Taylor and for Taylor only.”

To be clear, Kelce has not proposed to Swift as of yet — at least according to Daily Mail’s new report.

However, it does seem as though Kelce has already laid out his plans for the big event. At this point, it appears that it has become more of a matter of when rather than if.
