The Kansas City Chiefs were dealt two unfortunate injuries at wide receiver in 2024.Advertisement
Marquise Brown, who the Chiefs signed to a one-year contract in free agency this spring suffered a shoulder injury in the team’s first preseason game in August.
Second-year receiver Rashee Rice sustained a season-ending knee injury in Week 4.
The Kansas City Chiefs offense has struggled in 2024
Fortunately for the Chiefs, the team is set to get Brown back in time for the playoffs. He’ll join rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy and veteran DeAndre Hopkins, who Kansas City traded for in October. The team has added veteran help during the season as they attempt to complete a three-peat. Kansas City added veteran DJ Humphries for help at left tackle in November.
Still, the fanbase thinks the Chiefs could add more firepower to the offense.
