HOT NEWS: Dodgers World Series Hero Predicted To Cut Ties With Los Angeles For Monster Deal

The Los Angeles Dodgers swung a blockbuster trade for starting pitcher Jack Flaherty at the 2024 MLB trade deadline.

Jack Flaherty, that is all, just Jack Flaherty 🙏 : r/Dodgers

After the deal, the Dodgers would go on to win the World Series with Flaherty playing a crucial role in bringing the championship home.

Los Angeles signed Blake Snell to a massive deal worth nearly $200 million this winter and it’s the favorite to land Japanese star Roki Sasaki in free agency. So, Flaherty might be headed out of Los Angeles this winter.

FanSided’s Michael Brakebill recently predicted the right-handed starter to cut ties with the Dodgers this winter.

Brakebill predicts Flaherty to sign a contract with the Tigers, the same team that traded him a few months ago.

“Backed by solid starting pitching from Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal, the Tigers should be looking to add back to that rotation after sending Flaherty west to the Los Angeles Dodgers,” Brakebill wrote.

“After a nice playoff run, not rewarding the Detroit faithful with a move that shows they care about winning would be disrespectful to its fanbase, and many believe the team will still make a splash this winter.

The splash could be Flaherty, who fans will happily run it back with and compete for the AL Central.”

Re-signing Flaherty has been one of the moves that I’d love to see the Tigers make.

He’s kept a great relationship with many Tigers players, cheering them on from afar as they battled in the postseason.

Flaherty on a four or five-year deal would complement Tarik Skubal incredibly well, much like he did for the first half of 2024.
