BREAKING: Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes Reacts to Hollywood Brown Return With Cryptic Post

he Kansa City Chiefs have been without star wide receiver Hollywood Brown for the entire season. Brown suffered a sternovascular injury that has kept him sidelined since preseason. However, the former Arizona Cardinals receiver began to hint at his return earlier in November.

Brown used a clock emoji to signal his return.

Now, Brown has been fully cleared to return to football activities after the initial fear was that he was going to miss the entire 2024 season. The Chiefs are getting back a strong offensive weapon at just the right time.

Now, Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes has reacted to the news of Brown returning to the team by channeling what Brown did in November.

Mahomes used the same exactly clock emoji that Brown did when he was signaling his return. The clock can symbolize many things like the time for his return being up, or its time to go off. Either way, Mahomes is likely overjoyed he is getting Brown back.

Brown also shared Mahomes’ post, connecting the dots of the celebration.

The Chiefs struggled to secure a strong receiver corps with Brown being sidelined. The team brought back Juju Smith-Schuster, but he has dealt with injuries of his own. Kansas City did pull off a huge trade, landing DeAndre Hopkins from the Tennessee Titans before the trade deadline passed.

The Chiefs also drafted Xavier Worthy, but the rookie still has some growing to do. Hopkins became the lead receiver the moment he arrived. Kansas City has been hard-pressed to find a second receiver that can match Hopkins, and that might be the case now.

Before the injury, Brown was meant to be the premiere receiver for the team. That was not the case, as he has been sidelined this entire time. However, he now gets a chance to showcase that he will be that premiere receiver after all.

The Chiefs are currently 12-1 and won the AFC West. They are now trying to secure the No. 1 seed in the conference, which would mean home-field advantage and a first-round bye. Adding Brown back to the lineup will help that greatly.

Kansas City has won a lot of close games this season, but they continue to find ways to win no matter what. The offense being stunted due to injuries is likely a big reason for these close games.

Now, Brown can return to help the Chiefs secure even more wins and potentially their third consecutive Super Bowl victory.
