Travis Kelce made history on Sunday as he helped lift the Kansas City Chiefs to another small-margin victory at Arrowhead Stadium. This came in the form of a 19-17 win against Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers, which marked the two-time defending Super Bowl champs’ 12th victory of the season.
Kelce logged five carries for 45 yards in Sunday’s victory, which allowed him to become the fastest tight end in NFL history to reach 12,000 career receiving yards (172 games).
Kelce, however, missed a major Taylor Swift milestone on the same night as his girlfriend closed out her near-two-year, five-continent “Eras Tour” concert series with one final show in Vancouver. The Chiefs star has been very supportive of Swift’s career, and he likely would have wanted to attend the final show had it not been for a conflict in his schedule.
More than a few Swifties believe that this was exactly what was on Kelce’s mind after their win against the Chargers on Sunday night. The fans noticed the same thing about Kelce’s supposed behavior during his postgame interview inside the Chiefs locker room, and they made their thoughts known on social media.
One particular photo of the All-Pro TE is making its rounds on X as it showed a seemingly uninterested Kelce — at least according to the fans — attending to his postgame duties with the press.
More than a few supporters interpreted Kelce’s seemingly distracted behavior as the 35-year-old’s desire to rush home to catch the live stream of Swift’s “Eras” show.
“He just wants to stream in peace 😭 let him live,” a comment read.
“My brother looks very sad and upset, leave him alone,” said another.
“Just let him live his dream of being on a live stream…” reacted a user.
“just let him listen to blank space,” a viewer wrote, referencing one of Swift’s songs.

Other fans, however, took it to an even higher level with more sensational speculations about Kelce wanting to fly all the way to Vancouver to be by Swift’s side during this special moment.
“He wants to race away on a private jet!” suspected a commenter.
“He wanted to get on the plane 👀” surmised another.
“Or a jet stream!” a reaction read.
“HE WANTS TO GET ON THAT PLANE,” declared a fan.
For what it’s worth, it does not seem like Kelce got on a plane on Sunday evening to fly to Canada. However, Swift will be celebrating her 35th birthday on Friday, and Kelce reportedly has some big plans lined up.
