Travis Kelce is said to be intent on making Taylor Swift’s 35th birthday “extra special”.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who turned 35 on 5 October, is said to be getting big plans in place for Taylor’s milestone as the couple gear up to also celebrate 17 months together – and the end of the singer’s record-breaking global ‘Eras Tour’ on 8 December.

A source told Page Six about Travis’ ideas ahead of her birthday on 13 December: “This is a milestone birthday for Taylor so he wants to make it extra special.

“Travis has only let a few of those closest to him know what he has in store for Taylor because he doesn’t want to ruin any surprises.”

The insider added the athlete has been “shopping for Christmas and birthday gifts for Taylor for quite a while now”.

They went on: “(He is) not the type to leave these things to the last minute so he’s been picking up items here and there for the past several months whenever he has a chance.

“Some of the gifts are things Taylor has casually mentioned she would like.

“Travis makes sure to always listen even when Taylor doesn’t realise he is.”

Travis’ team have an away game against the Cleveland Browns on 15 December and are scheduled to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day, and it is not known whether Taylor will be cheering him on from the sidelines.

Taylor has already skipped several of his away games due to security reasons and her ongoing ‘Eras Tour’ schedule.

Page Six’s source added: “Although he’ll be playing on Christmas and has an away game the weekend of Taylor’s birthday, Travis is going to make sure to take time out to celebrate both occasions with her.”
