The Purple and Gold have slipped to a 12-10 record after opening their 2024-25 NBA campaign with three straight wins. Redick called for the team to have a huge sense of urgency because they have now lost six of their last eight, including four matches with a losing margin of at least 25 points.

“I’m embarrassed. We’re all embarrassed. It’s not a game where we had the right fight, the right professionalism. There has to be some ownership… I own this but there’s going to have to be some ownership on the court,” Redick said via Dave McMenamin of ESPN.

“Y’all just hating on the Lakers during a down time. Bandwagon. I’m still excited about this year’s team regardless. Great players, connect 4 in the building, and King James is doing incredible in his 22nd season. I still have lakers finishing strong,” World Peace posted on his X (formerly known as Twitter).
