The Kansas City Chiefs are locked in on the 2024 season as they chase an unprecedented third straight Super Bowl title.

They are tied for an NFL-best 11-1 on the campaign and have a Sunday Night Football contest against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Despite the mindset being focused on the remainder of the year, many people have begun discussing the 2025 offseason. Bleacher Report released an article talking about each team’s weaknesses before Week 14 and one move they could make during free agency.

In the piece, they suggest that the Las Vegas Raiders will sign WR Marquise Brown.

“Marquise Brown is likely to be an under-the-radar free agent next season. He’s proven himself as a solid No. 2 option in an offense. He has missed the whole season so far with a sternoclavicular injury, but he could return by the end of the season. He’ll have the final stretch of games and the postseason to earn a new contract. If he does that, he would be a good deep threat for whoever is at quarterback for the Raiders next season.”

Back in March, Brown signed with the Chiefs on a one-year deal that is worth up to $11 million but hasn’t suited up due to a sternoclavicular shoulder joint injury in a preseason contest.

He’s expected to step back onto the field towards the end of the year and could be a great weapon for the Chiefs postseason push.

Due to all the injuries at WR, the Chiefs traded for DeAndre Hopkins. In 2025, they’ll have Hopkins, Xavier Worthy, and Rashee Rice back into the fold.

That means they Brown could be on the outs, and joining the Raiders may be an option for him.

The Raiders traded Davante Adams to the New York Jets in October and will be looking to add another pass catcher alongside rookie phenom Brock Bowers.

Brown may be a viable threat and if he does join them, he’ll be seeing the Chiefs twice a year.
