The streaming platform just dropped its highly-anticipated list of the year’s top artists, songs, albums, podcasts, and more.
Personalized for each user, this year’s Wrapped shows the traditional top five artists and top five songs, with the addition of how your listening habits changed throughout the year.
There is also a message from your top artist thanking you for being one of their listeners.
Meanwhile, Spotify also released the global top artists, songs, albums, podcasts, and more in its platform.
Taylor Swift retains her crown as the top global artist with 26.6 billion streams. She gets a special badge on her Spotify artist profile in celebration of the feat.
The American popstar also has three entries in the top albums: The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology at no. 1, 1989 (Taylor’s Version) at no. 6, and Lover at no. 8. Her song “Cruel Summer” also made it to the top global songs at no. 9.
Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” is the top global song, while “Die With A Smile” by Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga is the no. 1 most viral song globally.
In podcasts and audio books, “The Joe Rogan Experience” and “A Court of Thorns and Roses” by Sarah J. Maas topped the lists, respectively.
