HEARTWARMING: Chiefs players host holiday shopping spree for kids

Chiefs players host holiday shopping spree for kids

Kansas City Chiefs players hosted a shopping spree for kids from Hope Center KC at Scheels in Overland Park.

The event allowed children to pick out a wide range of items, creating a memorable experience.

“It’s very special,” said Chiefs defensive end Felix Anudike-Uzomah. “I remember, when I was younger, seeing other kids be able to have this type experiences to shop with, like NFL players and Royals players. It was just special to see like actually being and now actually being out for the kids put a smile on their face and just helping them, pick some good decisions to what they want to have for Christmas and stuff like that.”

After the shopping spree, players and families took pictures and enjoyed dinner together, highlighting the Chiefs’ commitment to giving back to the community.
