Pop star Taylor Swift is just days away from finishing her two-year, 54-city, five-continent “Eras Tour,” and the world-famous singer is already planning what her next steps are.
Swift will likely take a few weeks to enjoy her newfound time off and spend as much down time as she can with her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, as his NFL season winds down and he and the Chiefs chase the first-ever Super Bowl three-peat in NFL history.
The 14-time Grammy winner might even take in her first Chiefs road contest of the season with games coming up in Cleveland (Dec. 15), Pittsburgh (Dec. 5) and Denver (first week of January).
Kelce also has a home game on Dec. 21 against the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium that Swift will more than likely attend as well.
While her friends are reportedly urging Swift to start a family with Kelce now that she will no longer be touring, and engagement rumors are swirling around the power couple, a report from indicates that Swift may have some other career plans on the horizon.
According to Us Weekly, a source close to Swift said she’s planning on working on a new album soon and contemplating going back on tour sometime in 2026.
“She had such a great experience on ‘Eras,’” the source said. “She really wants to do it again. She loves being with all her fans; it inspires her. Things can change. A lot of it hinges on what happens over the next year with Travis. She’s told her team to give her one year to see how things go in her personal life.”
Multiple reports have stated that Swift and Kelce are planning to get engaged after the NFL season ends sometime in February.
Nothing has been confirmed, but Kelce popping the question around that time makes sense given the two have been dating for well over a year and the speculation that they’ve both already discussed starting a family together.
If they were to tie the knot during the NFL offseason, one would imagine Kelce’s NFL career would also be coming to an end. But given his nine Pro Bowls, seven All-Pro selections and three Super Bowl championships, Kelce is likely at peace with where his career is at.
