On Amazon Music, the pop megastar was also declared the top artist globally and had the top album
Taylor Swift continues to dominate the 2024 charts with her latest album.
On Amazon Music, the 14-time Grammy winner was declared the top artist globally and had the top album with The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology in its 2024 delivered round-up. However, she didn’t earn the top song superlative, which went to Benson Boone for “Beautiful Things.”
Swift, 34, also conquered the Apple Music Replay for 2024 as the top artist of the year and had the top album of the year. She also had the fifth-spot ranking for the top global songs of 2024 with her 2019 hit “Cruel Summer” from Lover.
Apple Music also placed Swift in the No. 1 slot for the top songwriters chart, according to a press release.
On Tuesday, the “Lavender Haze” singer thanked her fans for helping her land the top spot on Apple’s list.
“Ahhhhhh thank you for listening to my music and TTPD so much!!!!! You, the fans, made The Tortured Poets Department the TOP STREAMED ALBUM of The Year on @applemusic!!! You guys snagged me that Top Streamed Artist spot too,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
Swift’s latest achievements come just days after she was voted the second greatest pop star by Billboard.
“The fact that controversy will likely tear through the internet over her being just one small space below No. 1 is just another testament to her power,” the publication said of Swift’s influence.
“Regardless, her placement shouldn’t leave Swifties upset for too long — especially considering how much later in the millennium she got her start, both in the genre and music in general.”
The list ranks “the artists who have most defined pop stardom for the last 25 years” and Beyoncé earned the top spot.
Swift has had an especially busy 2024. Between releasing The Tortured Poets Department, she has toured dozens of cities through five continents for her record-breaking Eras Tour. TTPD became part of the tour’s setlist in May when she surprised fans with new sets and choreography.
Between tour breaks, she’s been making appearances at her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs games.
The “So High School” aritst is wrapping up her tour — which kicked off in March 2023 — on Sunday, Dec. 8 in Vancouver.
