WATCH: Andy Reid and Travis Kelce in the chiefs locker Room, Reid Sets the Chiefs Locker Room on Fire with a victory Danced, he showed how excited he is with his Amazing dancing steps over CHIEFS Win… GO BIG RED!!! - NEWS USASunday’s Super Bowl rematch between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers didn’t produce the fireworks many expected, as quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes and Brock Purdy both struggled to find a groove against two top-notch defensive units. In the end, Mahomes and the reigning back-to-back Super Bowl champion Chiefs came out on top once again with a 28-18 win in front of disappointed fans at Levi’s Stadium to improve to 6-0. Mahomes was 16-of-27 for 154 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions, but he added a rushing score and 39 rushing yards.
It didn’t hurt that his counterpart wasn’t much better, as Purdy finished 17-of-31 for 212 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions. He bested Mahomes with two rushing touchdowns, but they didn’t make much of a difference to help overcome his other mistakes.Kansas City chose to rely on the ground game with its star signal-caller struggling. Veteran running back Kareem Hunt continued to turn back the clock with 78 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries. Veteran receiver Mecole Hardman added an 18-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter that sealed the victory for the Chiefs.Still, fans on social media were left unimpressed with both Mahomes and Purdy, and they let their feelings be known during Sunday’s game:

The Chiefs have proved to be able to win in a variety of ways this year, and staying undefeated when Mahomes isn’t at his best is no easy task. If they can keep this up, it can be expected that they will achieve the first three-peat in NFL history.

Kansas City will look to improve to 7-0 when it takes on the Las Vegas Raiders next Sunday

The Miami Dolphins are finally getting some offensive firepower back. After missing the last four games with a pectoral injury, tight end Darren Waller is expected to return against the New Orleans Saints, giving Tua Tagovailoa back his biggest red-zone mismatch just as Miami clings to faint playoff hopes at 4-7. Waller scored four touchdowns in his first three games before going down on October 19, and the Dolphins have badly missed that presence in tight scoring situations. To make his comeback official, Miami has cleaned up its roster. As Adam Schefter reported, the Dolphins activated offensive lineman Austin Jackson and tight end Darren Waller from injured reserve and waived tight end Hayden Rucci and offensive lineman Kion Smith. It is a clear signal: proven veterans are back in the mix, and depth pieces are the cost of making room.
