🔻Fabrizio Romano Drops Bombshell on Julian Alvarez’s Liverpool Transfer: Staggering Fee Revealed!

Liverpool are reportedly weighing up a sensational move for Julian Alvarez, with sources indicating the club is willing to table an astonishing ÂŁ142 million bid for the Atletico Madrid forward.

As per well-known transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool are keeping a close eye on the Argentine star’s situation as they prepare for a squad revamp in the summer of 2025.

Romano stated: “Liverpool are showing concrete interest in Julian Alvarez. A potential bid of around £142 million has been discussed internally. Atletico Madrid see him as a key part of their future, but in football, anything can happen.”

Alvarez, who made the switch to Atletico last summer after departing Manchester City, has delivered exceptional performances, netting 23 goals and registering 5 assists in 45 appearances for the Spanish side. His ability to operate as a striker, attacking midfielder, or left winger makes him a perfect fit for Liverpool, particularly with Mohamed Salah potentially departing at the end of the season.

Despite pushing for the Premier League title, Liverpool remain focused on strengthening their squad following their Champions League exit and Carabao Cup final defeat. New manager Arne Slot is keen to secure marquee signings, and Alvarez appears to be a leading target on his shortlist.

However, Atletico Madrid are unwilling to part ways with him, as the 25-year-old is tied to a contract running until 2029/30 and is regarded as a vital figure in their long-term plans. With Liverpool’s interest escalating, the upcoming summer transfer window could witness a fierce contest for Alvarez’s signature.
