Conor Gallagher makes bold prediction about Tottenham’s Premier League run
Conor Gallagher has spoken positively about his early weeks at Tottenham, admitting he joined the club during a tough period but believes things are about to turn around in the Premier League.
The midfielder explained that arriving midway through the season has allowed him to bring fresh energy and confidence into the dressing room, having not lived through Spurs’ earlier league struggles. Gallagher stressed that the mood among the players and coaching staff remains upbeat, and he is convinced Tottenham will climb the table.
Speaking to Sky Sports News before the Man City draw, the 25-year-old said:
“It’s a fresh start. I have a similar feeling to everyone, but I’ve not experienced their Premier League season so far, so I’ve come in with a fresh mind, and I wanted to help the group.
“Unfortunately, it did not work exactly how I planned it would in the first couple of games, but that’s football. It’s something we are working on. We know we need to stay positive.
“The manager has been amazing since I came in, with how he has been with the group and how positive he is staying and where we can improve. I honestly think the only way is up, and we will get much better in the Premier League.”
Thomas Frank has also echoed that optimism, insisting he has seen clear improvement over Tottenham’s last eight matches, even if results have not always reflected performances.
That belief is supported by the numbers. Since the start of 2026, Spurs have created the third most chances in the Premier League, a strong sign that the attack is beginning to click. While the first half against Man City raised concerns, the second-half display offered real encouragement for what lies ahead in Tottenham’s next 14 league games.
