However, the main storyline attached to the contest is Stephen Curry’s injury status. The four-time NBA champion exited the contest with less than a minute to play and appeared to be a significant pain.

ClutchPoints’ Brett Siegel detailed the event that led to Curry’s apparent lower-body injury.

“Stephen Curry does not look good out there and is moving around very slow with a massive limp,” Siegel wrote on X/Twitter.

Shortly after Siegel’s tweet and the Warriors’ four-point loss, Siegel’s ClutchPoints co-worker, Kenzo Fukuda, reported that the Warriors are diagnosing their standout point guard with a right quad contusion and will await an MRI to confirm.
