Liverpool, Man City and Spurs monitoring Bournemouth forward ahead of January transfer window

Liverpool, Man City, and Spurs Tracking Antoine Semenyo Ahead of January Window

Liverpool, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur are all keeping a close eye on Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo as the January transfer window approaches.

Semenyo signed a new deal with Bournemouth during the summer despite interest from several clubs, including Spurs and Manchester United. His performances this season have only strengthened his reputation, with the 25-year-old continuing to attract attention after scoring 11 Premier League goals last campaign.

Semenyo Drawing Big-Club Attention — But Has Not Requested to Leave

Despite speculation suggesting he has asked to move on, Semenyo is understood to be frustrated by those claims. Contrary to reports, he has not requested a transfer.

The Ghanaian international has been one of Bournemouth’s standout performers this season, impressing scouts from top Premier League sides with his pace, strength, and consistent end product.

Semenyo on Transfer Rumours: “I Try to Stay Present”

Speaking to Sky Sports earlier this month, Semenyo acknowledged that he is aware of the ongoing rumours but insisted he is focused on Bournemouth.

“I don’t think about it too much,” he said. “I try to stay present as much as I can. You see the news all the time — I see it as well — but I try to stay focused.”

Before Bournemouth’s recent match against Manchester City, he reiterated to Jamie Redknapp that staying with the Cherries over the summer was the right decision for him.

What Happens in January?

With several elite clubs monitoring his progress, bids for Semenyo once the winter window opens cannot be ruled out. However, for now, he remains committed to Bournemouth as they push to continue their strong league form.
