Boѕton Celtіcѕ ѕtar Jaylen Brown ѕeemѕ to be a bіg fan of Kendrіck Lamar’ѕ new album “GNX” and one of іtѕ hіt ѕongѕ, “TV Off.” Brown droррed one of the moѕt рoрular lyrіcѕ of the ѕong on X, formerly known aѕ Twіtter. Lamar releaѕed hіѕ new album on Frіday, and іt reрortedly got 44.2 mіllіon ѕtreamѕ on ѕрotіfy on іtѕ fіrѕt day.

іn a рoѕt on X, Brown can’t helр but “laugh out loud” wіth one of the lyrіcѕ from “TV Off.” іt’ѕ ѕo рoрular that іt haѕ become a meme already and haѕ taken over ѕocіal medіa іn the рaѕt few dayѕ. The reіgnіng NBA Fіnalѕ MVр can’t helр hіmѕelf joіn the trend by tweetіng about іt on Tueѕday.

“Muuuѕѕѕѕtarrrrrrrdddddddddd lol,” Brown tweeted.

Jaylen Brown has not publicly commented on the beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. Brown is busy with more important things in life, but it seemed like he liked Lamar’s work at the moment. He also bopped to “Not Like Us” earlier this year with teammate Jrue Holiday during a Boston Celtics practice.

The Celtics star doesn’t have any link with either Drake or Lamar although he’s from Georgia. He also went to the University of California in Berkeley, which is just six hours away from Kendrick’s hometown of Compton.

Jaylen Brown dabbled into rap this offseason

One of the biggest red flags, when Jaylen Brown was being scouted before the draft, was his propensity for activities outside basketball. Brown was called “too smart” for the NBA, but he clearly chose the right path with one NBA championship and one NBA Finals trophy already on his resume.

Brown dabbled into a new foray this offseason after taking home the title. He released a single titled “Just Do It” with rapper FERG. The title alluded to Nike’s popular tagline, with Brown famously getting into a feud with the shoe giant for how it treated Kyrie Irving.

The Celtics star also insinuated that he was not chosen for Team USA because of his criticism of Nike. Nevertheless, things worked out for Brown despite the snub, and he can put rapper on his resume now.

Jaylen Brown having another fantastic season for Boston

The Boston Celtics entered the season as favorites to win back-to-back NBA championships. They still had issues with their depth, but their main core remained intact. Jayson Tatum was hyped to have a revenge campaign after what happened with Team USA, but Jaylen Brown remains an important part of the defending champs.

Brown is having another fantastic season for the Celtics, averaging 25.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.0 steals per game. He’s one of the reasons why Boston has a record of 15-3 after the first five weeks. They are second in the Eastern Conference standings just behind the 17-1 Cleveland Cavaliers.
