Some notes

  • The Chiefs had two players who did not practice on Tuesday: linebacker Cam Jones (illness) and kicker Spencer Shrader (hamstring). Shrader’s injury led Kansas City to bring back kicker Matthew Wright to the team via the practice squad.
  • The Chiefs made that roster move (and six others), and we have more on that here.
  • Both defensive lineman Charles Omenihu (knee) and running back Isiah Pacheco (ankle) were full participants, marking their first full participation in practice since they suffered their injuries. Omenihu and Pacheco are both trending in the right direction to play against the Raiders on Friday.
  • Kansas City listed five other players on its report, but they were all full participants. All those injury designations are new from last week’s report.
  • The Raiders listed 11 players on their report, including quarterback Gardner Minshew, who has a broken collarbone and will miss the rest of the season. At this stage, Aidan O’Connell, who was listed as a full participant, is expected to start.
  • Cornerbacks Jakorian Bennett (shoulder) and Nate Hobbs (ankle) did not practice to start the week after missing the Raiders’ previous two outings.
  • Running back Alex Mattison (ankle), who missed last game was limited on Tuesday. Fellow running back Zamir White (quad), who also missed last game, did not practice.
