It’s safe to say that most people didn’t expect much from the Chicago Bulls this season.
The team has been middling at best over the last several seasons, and few fans saw them turning things around in 2025-26.
A lot can change between now and the end of the year, but the Bulls are looking great right now.
They have a 5-0 record, and it’s the first time they have done that since the 1996-97 season.
5-0 FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 1996-97!!!!!

They were at it again on Friday night as they took down the New York Knicks 135-125.
A lot of people will point out that their opponents have had bad shooting nights, but the Bulls have beaten some teams expected to be true forces in the East, such as the Orlando Magic and Atlanta Hawks.
The Bulls are defeating serious teams, no matter what the critics say.
Chicago is currently being led by Josh Giddey with his 22.0 points per game.
Meanwhile, Nikola Vucevic, Ayo Dosunmu, and Matas Buzelis are all chipping in night after night in double digits.
Everyone knows their record won’t stay this strong, but the Bulls are showing they have something special at their core.
Now it’s all about fostering whatever that is and using it for the entire year.
NBA fans knew that the Eastern Conference could be wide open this season, and a number of teams could develop and do better than they have in years.
The Bulls weren’t at the top of anyone’s list, but they have made a statement with these five consecutive wins.
They have to take on the Knicks again, followed by the Philadelphia 76ers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Cleveland Cavaliers in the days ahead.
If they can remain undefeated after all of that, the entire league will be talking.
