Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs finally dropped a game in Week 11 at the hands of the Buffalo Bills. But it didn’t take long for them to get back on track as they defeated the Carolina Panthers 30-27 on a go-ahead field goal as time expired.
Mahomes helped set the Chiefs up for the game-winner with a two-minute drill after the Panthers stormed back from 11 down in the fourth quarter.
The key play was a 33-yard run by the two-time NFL MVP that put Kansas City in recently acquired kicker Spencer Shrader’s range.
But the fun continued for Mahomes one day following the win. On Monday afternoon, Mahomes shared a new video highlighting his latest collaboration with Adidas for a new color scheme on his Mahomes 2 Impact FLX shoes: The “Magic Beige/Bronze Strata/Magic Beige” colorway.
The clip featured his son, Patrick “Bronze” Mahomes III, just days before his birthday, while the shoes are also named after the almost two-year-old. “Three rings, three stripes, three generations,” Patrick Mahomes said in the new ad. “The legend lives on the field. The legacy lives at home.
Patrick Mahomes’ mom, Randi Mahomes, was moved to tears by the latest reveal, taking to social media to share her emotions. “Tears!!!” Randi Mahomes wrote on X. “I love this so much!!!” Tears!!!
