Tottenham Hotspur are preparing for another tough Premier League test, and Thomas Frank has delivered a key update on his squad ahead of their trip to Hill Dickson Stadium.
The London side went into their midweek UEFA Champions League fixture against AS Monaco missing ten outfield players. Despite multiple changes to the lineup, Spurs could only manage a 0-0 draw, though the result was a valuable one that kept their European campaign on track.
Thomas Frank offers Tottenham injury update ahead of Everton trip
Focus now turns back to the Premier League, as Tottenham head to Merseyside to face Everton for the first time this season.
Frank is still dealing with several injury concerns. Dejan Kulusevski and James Maddison remain unavailable, although the former is expected to return before the end of the year.
Club captain Cristian Romero continues to recover from an abductor issue — a minor setback but one that has already kept him out of two games. His involvement against Everton remains uncertain.
Defensive options are further limited, with Kota Takai, Ben Davies, Radu Dragusin, and Destiny Udogie all still sidelined.
Up front, Dominic Solanke will miss out once again, though Randal Kolo Muani is nearing full fitness after making a lively substitute appearance against Monaco. Midfielder Yves Bissouma is also absent following an injury picked up while representing Mali during the October international break.
Speaking to Football London, Thomas Frank provided a positive update, saying:
“Cuti just walked out on the grass running — positive and progressing. No timeframe, but I don’t expect it to be a long one.
Destiny isn’t on the grass yet, but not a longer one either. Dominic’s positive — he’s making progress every day and getting in a good amount of individual pitch sessions.”
