Things didn’t go according to plan of course, though Kansas City still improved to 10-1 despite a closer contest than most expected. Patrick Mahomes calmly led the offense down the field for Harrison Butker’s repacement to step up and nail a game-winning field goal in the final moments, representing the “next man up” mentailty that’s definite this era of Chiefs football.
