Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes really showed his incredible connection to Rashee Rice against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Clearly, the Kansas City Chiefs still can’t get over Patrick Mahomes’ performance in their Week 7 game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
Mahomes led the Chiefs to a 31-0 shutout of the Raiders, throwing for 286 yards and three touchdowns on 26-of-35 pass completion. He also rushed four times for 28 yards on the ground.
Out of his passing touchdowns, the Chiefs QB completed two of them with the returning wide receiver Rashee Rice — who was suspended for the first six games of the season after violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.
Rice, in total, caught seven passes from Mahomes and gained 42 yards.
On Monday, the Chiefs shared one of Mahomes’ passes to Rice. What made the play stand out, however, was the fact that it was a no-look pass on a hitch route.
“Another week of Mahomes magic,” the Chiefs wrote in the caption of their post.
Sure enough, fans were impressed by what Mahomes did, with many taking to the comment section to share their reactions.
“Best QB in the nfl,” a commenter wrote. Another one said, “This is why mahomes is the best qb of all time.”
“Most quarterbacks can’t even throw that nice of a ball looking at the receiver,” a fan added.
A supporter remarked, “Love watching the Mahomes magic!!!”
“The boy’s a genius! What can I say?” a poster shared.
A sixth follower stated, “That was clean [expletive].”
It was certainly a game to remember for Mahomes. After all, he also made history in the process, as he surpassed the legendary Peyton Manning for the most wins by a QB aged 30 or younger. The victory against the Raiders was Mahomes’ 93rd win.
Mahomes will have the opportunity to show what he can do once again and probably make more history when they play the Washington Commanders at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 8.
