“Yeah, in the run game, yeah. So I’m pretty decent in the run game,” Parsons said when asked about his blocking and edge-setting responsibilities, according to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic. The comment, though brief, carried some weight considering his recent exchanges with Jerry Jones and the Cowboys. It was a sharp, well-timed response that resonated in a locker room still energized by his first three-sack performance as a member of the Packers.
One of the reasons Jerry Jones cited for the Cowboys’ unexpected decision to send Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers was the team’s need to strengthen its run defense. In return for Parsons, Dallas received two first-round picks and veteran defensive lineman Kenny Clark, a move Jones believed would give the Cowboys a better chance to shore up that area.

The Packers rally came to life in the closing minutes as the offense finally found its rhythm. Josh Jacobs powered in two touchdowns, including the decisive 1-yard run with less than two minutes remaining, while Jordan Love completed 19 of 29 passes for 179 yards and a score to lead the surge.
