🔥 GAME OF CHARM: Tyreek Hill just dropped a move that’s got everyone talking — subtle shoutouts, old-team nostalgia, and fans swear he’s flirting with a Chiefs comeback before the offseason even begins.. ll

Tyreek Hill tells the Dolphins' defense to 'just find Kelce' to stop the Chiefs in Germany – Newstalk KZRG

For weeks, Kansas City Chiefs fans and media speculated about wideout Tyreek Hill’s future with the Miami Dolphins. Given his situation in South Beach and the Chiefs’ decimated wide receivers corps, some thought a reunion made sense for both parties, especially with Kansas City’s wide receiver room experiencing a bumpy start.

Hill then suffered a season-ending injury just four games into the season, all but killing all hope of a potential return to Arrowhead Stadium in 2025. It seems like he’s still keeping tabs on his former team, though, to the point where it sounds like he’s angling for a reunion.

Tyreek Hill Clearly Trying to Get on Chiefs’ Good Side

The former Super Bowl champion took to social media on Sunday afternoon to make sure everybody knew that he was watching the Chiefs, praising WR Rashee Rice in his return, even though his Dolphins were playing at the same time:

“Also Rashee Rice is so dangerous !! Chiefs back rolling love to see it,” Hill wrote on X.

Hill closed out last season on a low note. He openly claimed to be done with the Dolphins and requested a trade, even though he was coming off the worst campaign of his career. He eventually backpedaled and apologized, but the damage was already done.

Even so, it seems like a reunion was never in the cards, at least from the Chiefs’ side. According to a report by Dianna Russini of The Athletic, the Chiefs were never truly interested in trading for Hill, as they thought that Rashee Rice was better than any player they could target in the trade market:

“I’m told Hill was never considered a real option in Kansas City, even as the Chiefs stumbled out of the gate. He’s better than any trade we could make,” Russini reported. “People don’t realize how good he is.”

Hill was up to 21 receptions on 29 targets for 265 yards and one touchdown this season. He didn’t look as sharp as when he first arrived in South Beach, but he was still the Dolphins’ most dangerous weapon in the passing game.

Now, at 32 years old and with his team likely going through a regime change, it’s hard to imagine they will bring him back. He will be in the final year of his contract, and his trade value might be nonexistent after that injury, which could potentially open up the door for a return to Arrowhead Stadium if he’s willing to take a massive pay cut.

However, with the Chiefs now boasting a stacked pass-catchers corps, there will be no guarantees that Hill will be welcomed back to Kansas City.
