BREAKING NEWS: Patrick Mahomes Sends Three-Word Warning About DeAndre Hopkins After Chiefs Debut

The Kansas City Chiefs will return home after securing a 27-20 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8. With the win over the Raiders, Kansas City moved to 7-0 on the season.

Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes Warns Defenses About DeAndre Hopkins

The matchup against the Raiders may have been familiar territory for Patrick Mahomes, who’s been battling Las Vegas in the AFC West for years, but for a guy like DeAndre Hopkins, it’s a new atmosphere.

Hopkins played in his first game with the Chiefs in Week 8, just a few days after being traded from the Tennessee Titans.

After his first appearance in a Chiefs uniform, Hopkins took to social media, sharing a picture of him and Mahomes with the caption “Chiefs Kingdom.” Mahomes then responded with a message that said, “Just the start.”

He was limited in terms of targets, but Mahomes made sure to let NFL fans know that the offensive duo will only get better with time.

Heading into the game against the Raiders, Hopkins had produced one touchdown and 173 yards while hauling in 15 receptions in six games for the Titans.

While the 32-year-old is on the tail end of his career, he’s been known to be one of the most reliable receivers in the NFL for the past decade.

Hopkins originally entered the league in 2013. He played seven seasons with the Houston Texans and was then traded to the Arizona Cardinals. After a short stint with the Cardinals, Hopkins spent the last two years in Tennessee.

With the Chiefs, Hopkins has the chance to earn the first Super Bowl ring of his NFL career while helping Kansas City become the first team in league history to win three straight Super Bowl titles.
