FEE AGREED: Arsenal reach verbal agreement with £80million rated superstar who has rejected Chelsea to join the Gunners in January

Arsenal could enter the transfer market for another attacking player, according to Quotidiano Sportivo.

The Gunners had an impressive summer transfer window, making eight signings.

Viktor Gyokeres, Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke were signed to bolster the attack.

The club were much fancied to sign a specialist left winger, but a deal did not materialise.

This has not ended the speculation, and Quotidiano Sportivo claim that the Gunners would be ready to offer £74-78 million to purchase Kenan Yildiz from Juventus.

A big-money sale would improve Juventus’ financial situation, but the same outlet add that the Bianconeri are not keen on losing Yildiz and plan to extend his contract.

The Bianconeri have already offered a package of £4.3m per year to Yildiz, but it may take a higher salary to persuade the 20-year-old to put pen to paper on a renewal.

Arsenal should seek to sign Antoine Semenyo instead
Yildiz had a solid 2024/25 campaign with the Bianconeri. He registered 12 goals and nine assists from 52 appearances. He has likewise impressed this term with two goals and four assists from eight games.

The Turkish ace can operate anywhere in the final third, but he is most comfortable as a left winger. Yildiz has predominantly played in the position when on national team duty.

Yildiz, described as a ‘good player‘ by France legend Zinedine Zidane this week, would be a clever signing for the Gunners, given his relatively young age and immense potential.

However, he will need time to adapt to the higher intensity and physicality of the Premier League. Several players coming from Serie A have tended to struggle in the English top-flight.

If Arsenal are eyeing a statement left-winger signing in January to boost their title bid, they should not look beyond Antoine Semenyo, who has been in the form of his life at Bournemouth.

The 25-year-old has nine goal contributions from just eight league games this season. He would seamlessly fit in at Arsenal, given his rich form and good league experience.

It is well known that Bournemouth are willing sellers for the right transfer fee. If Arsenal were to pay anywhere close to £74m, the Cherries are unlikely to block the forward’s exit.
