The Chiefs, with their strong leadership under coach Andy Reid and star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, are in a much better position compared to the Jets, who are struggling through a tough season.

The Jets are currently 3-8, while the Chiefs have been thriving, securing their 10th win of the season in a nail-biting 30-27 victory over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

In that game, Shrader was put to the test in his first major game for Kansas City. With the score tied at 27, Shrader nailed a 31-yard field goal as time expired to give the Chiefs the win.

“The biggest emotion in that moment is gratitude, for the opportunity and just happy that I was able to go out and perform for the team,” Shrader said about the emotional impact of the moment.

He also praised his new teammates for helping him adjust to the demands of playing for a winning team like the Chiefs.

“It’s been a whirlwind for sure, but I think the thing that helps in that situation is that I’m around a group of true professionals,” Shrader added.

Spencer Shrader’s calm demeanor and consistent performance make it clear he is ready for the high-pressure moments that come with playing for a top NFL team.
