While Brittany Mahomes continues to spend time with her fast-growing kids, her husband, Patrick Mahomes, is fresh off an impressive win against the Baltimore Ravens in the Week 4 matchup. The victory was definitely sweet for the Chiefs as they destroyed the Ravens 37-20

Patrick Mahomes was his best self in the game against the Baltimore Ravens, chalking up a total of four touchdowns for the team with 25 pass completions. While Mahomes did try his best, tight end Travis Kelce continued to disappoint with five receptions and no scores. Wide receiver Xavier Worthy did manage to make his comeback after his shoulder injury and contributed a pair of receptions for the team.

After a couple of tricky games to kick off their season, the Kansas City Chiefs have finally managed to find their mojo and are on a two-game winning streak now. The Chiefs will be trying their best to lift the Lombardi Trophy this season after it was snatched out of their hands by the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.

Patrick Mahomes Takes Blame For Travis Kelce’s Mistakes

Patrick Mahomes has proved time and time again that he is a team player and indeed a close friend of tight end Travis Kelce. Mahomes appeared on 96.5 The Fan’s show a couple of days back, where the quarterback defended Kelce, especially after the tight end was called out for dropping a catch in the Giants game in Week 3. Mahomes explained that he was “greedy” and wanted to somehow get a touchdown pass when he threw the ball to Kelce, which the tight end ended up missing.

“I think he’s done a great job this year at getting open and making stuff open. For me, it’s just about getting the football to him and giving him more opportunities.” Patrick Mahomes said about Travis Kelce.

It is clear that Patrick Mahomes places an immense amount of trust in Travis Kelce, even though the tight end has not churned out big numbers this year. The Chiefs quarterback also went on to predict that Kelce will definitely make important plays when he is counted on to do so.
