🛑 SHOCK REPORT: Jerry Jones can’t stop taking shots at Micah Parsons in the aftermath of the Cowboys trade, fueling whispers of a rift inside Dallas

Jerry Jones can’t stop burying Micah Parsons after Cowboys trade

When will it stop?

Once again, Jerry Jones has made headlines with a ridiculous statement, and to the surprise of no one, it’s about Micah Parsons. Dallas traded Parsons right before the regular season in a move that really didn’t feel likely earlier in the offseason.

From start to finish, the Cowboys totally bungled the Micah Parsons situation. If we’re being honest, he should still be in a Cowboys uniform and getting paid handsomely by the team. Well, he’s now on the Packers, a 2-1 team approaching contender status.

On the other hand, the Cowboys fell to 1-2 in Week 3 thanks to an ugly defensive performance against the Chicago Bears. Dallas hosts the Packers in Week 4, and the main storyline for this game is a swift Micah Parsons homecoming.

The entire NFL world knows that Dallas made the wrong move to trade him, but Jerry Jones is stopping at nothing to make the move look good.

Jerry Jones can’t stop taking shots at former Cowboy Micah Parsons

The Cowboys will look to upset the Green Bay Packers this weekend, and they’ll surely have to stop Micah Parsons in order to do it.

Well, Jerry Jones doesn’t exactly seem to be worried about facing their former best player:

“While he does make great plays, there is also a way to approach playing against Micah. As we know, we didn’t exactly win the Super Bowl those years.”

This is a very clear jab at Micah Parsons, and there isn’t really a debate here. What Jones is clearly misguided on his how much an elite pass rusher raises the tides of the entire defense. In his four years with the Cowboys, Parsons racked up 52.5 sacks, 63 tackles for loss, and 112 QB hits.

He made the Pro Bowl in all four seasons with Dallas, and through three games with the Packers, has 1.5 sacks, one tackle for loss, and six QB hits through three games. As the season goes on, Parsons is going to begin getting into the backfield more and more.

And he’s got all the motivation in the world against his old team and a front office that truly traded him for pennies on the dollar. On both sides of the ball, the Packers outmatch the Cowboys, and they tend to play well in Jerry World.

After a slipup in Week 3 against the Chicago Bears, the Cowboys are poised to likely drop to 1-3 with a loss against the Green Bay Packers.
