A report from L’Equipe says that Didier Deschamps will soon ask Kylian Mbappe if he still wants to be captain of France.
If Mbappe says he does not want to be captain anymore, Deschamps will probably name Ibrahima Konate as the new captain. The Liverpool center back has been leading the team lately.
Other people who could be France’s new leaders are Aurelien Tchouameni and N’Golo Kante.
Both October and November, Mbappe has not gone to France for international duty. There are rumors that the 25-year-old player is even thinking about quitting international football.
